ERVA Festival: The Roots of Reggae in the Heart of Drôme

Since 2016, ERVA Festival — short for En Roots Vers Anneyron — has established itself as the unmissable event for reggae, dub, and contemporary music in the Drôme region. Born from the desire of a handful of enthusiasts united within the En Roots Vers Anneyron association, this festival has grown over the years to become a major event on the French reggae scene.

Three Days of Music on Four Stages

Every summer, in early July, the festival takes over the town of Anneyron for three days of concerts and festivities. The program, resolutely eclectic, draws from the roots of reggae while also embracing rap, dub, world music, and electronic music. Four stages host the artists, offering a diversity of styles and atmospheres that delight an ever-growing audience — over 60,000 festival-goers cumulatively since the first edition.

Internationally Renowned Artists

Over the years, ERVA Festival has hosted headliners from the reggae and contemporary music scene. The 2026 edition, celebrating the festival's 10th anniversary, promises an exceptional lineup including Dub Inc, Ky-Mani Marley, Sniper, Marcus Gad, Yaniss Odua, Zoufris Maracas, Lidiop, and Voilaaa.

An Eco-Responsible and Committed Festival

ERVA Festival stands out for its exemplary environmental commitment. Ranked the 2nd greenest festival in France in 2025 at the Heavent Festival Awards, it implements an ambitious sustainable development policy: short-loop waste management, zero single-use plastic, eco-friendly internal transport, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, and local, responsible catering.

Strong Territorial Roots

Beyond music, ERVA Festival plays a vital role in the revitalization of the territory of Anneyron and the Drôme des Collines. The association, created in 2015, carries out cultural activities throughout the year and mobilizes a network of committed volunteers. The festival contributes to the town's tourism and economic influence, while fostering social and intergenerational connections.
