The Festimoun's: The DIY Spirit in the Heart of Tarn-et-Garonne

Born from the passion of a handful of volunteers who love extreme music, the Festimoun's has established itself over the years as a unique festival in the Occitan musical landscape. Organized every summer in Les Barthes, a small village in Tarn-et-Garonne nestled between plains and hills, this do-it-yourself spirited festival cultivates conviviality, independence, and a passion for saturated guitars.

Since its creation, the Festimoun's has attracted a loyal audience of enthusiasts from across the Occitanie region and beyond, drawn by its eclectic lineup in extreme genres — rock, punk, hardcore, and metal — and by the unique atmosphere of a human-scale festival where artists and the public come together around a shared musical fervor.

Quality Programming Across Several Stages

Each edition of the festival offers a carefully curated program featuring around twenty bands spread across several stages. Recognized national acts perform alongside local and regional groups, in a spirit of discovery and support for the French underground scene.

The diversity of styles represented — from alternative rock to punk hardcore, including metal and festive songs — makes the Festimoun's a truly pluralistic festival, capable of surprising both connoisseurs and curious individuals seeking new sonic experiences.

A Unique and Festive Rural Setting

The festival site, outdoors in the green setting of Les Barthes, offers an atmosphere radically different from large urban festivals. Spectators move freely between stages, meet friends and artists in common living areas, and enjoy the convivial ambiance of the place.

The integrated festival campsite fosters community life and nocturnal encounters. This on-site accommodation option, accessible at a reasonable rate, is one of the features that keeps festival-goers coming back year after year.

Ten Editions and Confirmed Longevity

In August 2025, the Festimoun's celebrated its 10th edition, from August 8th to 10th in Les Barthes, confirming the longevity and vitality of a self-financed associative project, rooted in its territory. Carried by the association Les Moun's, without subsidies or sponsors, the festival has brought together around twenty bands per edition over the years for several days of intense concerts, establishing itself among the summer events for rock and extreme music lovers in the Grand Sud-Ouest.

The warm welcome from volunteers and the activist spirit of an independent festival make the Festimoun's much more than just a musical event: a true popular celebration that honors underground culture with authenticity and generosity.
