Open-air music festival in Guainville
Born from the initiative of the Vaille que Vaille association, the Festivaille que Vaille festival is an open-air musical event held every summer in Guainville, a small town in the north of Eure-et-Loir, on the borders of Normandy and ÃŽle-de-France. In the green setting of this preserved countryside, the festival offers a full day of concerts for all tastes, in a relaxed and warm atmosphere reminiscent of the village festivals of yesteryear.
The Festivaille que Vaille program showcases musical eclecticism. Rock, French chanson, folk, reggae, world music: styles follow one another on stage throughout the day and evening, offering festival-goers a rich and varied sound palette. The festival gives an important place to local and regional bands, while also inviting more established groups to headline the evening.
Accessibility is at the heart of the project. With a low-cost entrance fee including a first drink, the festival aims to remain open to all. On-site catering offers simple and delicious dishes, while the bar accompanies festival-goers throughout the day. For those who wish to extend the party, a campsite is available, allowing them to spend the night on-site and fully enjoy the event without transportation constraints.
Driven by committed volunteers from the Vaille que Vaille association, in partnership with the municipality of Guainville, the festival embodies the values of the rural associative world: solidarity, sharing, and creativity. Each edition is the result of collective work that mobilizes the villagers and music lovers from all over the region. Festivaille que Vaille proves that it is not necessary to have a colossal budget to create a quality and unifying musical event.
Guainville is a rural commune in the Drouais region, located on the border of Eure-et-Loir and Eure. Its bucolic setting, between wheat fields and small woods, offers an ideal backdrop for an open-air festival. The village also has interesting historical heritage, which festival-goers can discover during their visit. The festival thus contributes to the animation and influence of this small Beaucerone commune.
Festivaille que Vaille is set to return on June 27, 2026, in Guainville. A full day of open-air concerts, in the friendly and relaxed atmosphere that marks this small country festival. The program will be announced soon.
The festival takes place in Guainville (28260), near the town hall, 33 rue du Bourg.
Low-cost entrance fee (approx. 5 euros) with one drink included.
