À Tout Bout de Chant: Sharing Chanson in Magny-les-Hameaux
Since 2003, the Festival À Tout Bout de Chant has filled the venues of Magny-les-Hameaux every March with a musical program designed for all ages. Over twenty editions have established this municipal festival as an essential family event in the cultural landscape of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and the Chevreuse Valley.
Musical Shows for the Whole Family
The festival's program is built around chanson and musical shows, with a particular focus on the young audience. From the age of two, children can discover music through specially designed shows: musical theater, musical tales, sound awakening, and participatory concerts. Adults are not left out, with French chanson concerts, musicals, cine-concerts, and festive dances that punctuate the festival evenings.
Artists Committed to Transmission
Over the years, the festival has hosted renowned artists and companies from the chanson and young audience scene: musical theater troupes, singer-storytellers, festive brass bands, and world music musicians. The 2026 edition notably features Reno Bistan, Vincent Tirilly, Serena Fisseau, Paris Kinshasa Express, and the troupe Les Grands chantent pour les petits. Each show is chosen for its ability to create connections between generations and awaken musical curiosity.
The Maison de l'Environnement, the Festival's Setting
The festival primarily takes place at the Maison de l'Environnement, a cultural and associative space in Magny-les-Hameaux located at rue Haroun-Tazieff. Other venues in the town—the media library, schools, associative spaces—also host performances, integrating the festival into the daily fabric of the town.
