ℹ️ Renamed Festival. The « Festival C — Chanson Française et Cirque Nouveau » is one of the former names of the annual festival in Lormes. The festival still exists: it has been renamed « Un Week-End à Lormes » and has expanded its program to include all contemporary music. A bit of history

The festival was launched in 1996 in Lormes (Nièvre), in the heart of the Parc naturel régional du Morvan, under the name Festival de la Chanson Française. It then opened up to new circus and became the Festival C — Chanson Française et Cirque Nouveau, which this page had preserved the memory of until now. Over several editions, the organizing association — the WAL association (Festival Week-end à Lormes) — has evolved the artistic project to embrace all contemporary music (chanson, folk, world music, electro, rap) while retaining the free price format that is the event's signature, evening concerts by the Étang du Goulot and shorter daytime shows in the town.
