Morteau (25) On hold

About Flambée et Tuyé

Event currently discontinued. La Flambée de Morteau was a gastronomic festival in Haut-Doubs celebrating Morteau sausage and traditional tuyé smoking. Organized in the city center of Morteau (Doubs) in the late 2000s and early 2010s, it no longer seems to be held. The current Morteau sausage event is the Festi'Val de la Morteau, relaunched in 2023 and organized in early September.

La Flambée de Morteau, a sausage festival now disappeared

ℹ️ This event is no longer organized. During our editorial verification (June 2026), we found no public source announcing a new edition of La Flambée de Morteau. The official event website and available reports only document editions from the late 2000s to the early 2010s.

La Flambée de Morteau succeeded the former Fête de la Saucisse de Morteau. For three days, at the end of summer, the city center of Morteau came alive around the Morteau sausage, an emblematic product of Franche-Comté smoked in a tuyé, the traditional pyramidal high chimney of Haut-Doubs. The program of past editions included: a smoking tuyé installed in the heart of the city, a market of producers from Franche-Comté, tastings, manufacturing demonstrations, entertainment, and free concerts.

The gastronomic event dedicated to Morteau sausage is now carried by the Festi'Val de la Morteau, a distinct event relaunched in 2023 and now organized in early September in the same city.

Flambée et Tuyé — edition 2026

La Flambée de Morteau 2026 will be held from August 21 to 23 in the city center of Morteau. Three days of celebration around Morteau sausage with an artisanal market, concerts, tastings, and tuyé smoking demonstrations.

ℹ️ This event no longer takes place. La Flambée de Morteau, a gastronomic festival dedicated to Morteau sausage and tuyé smoking, was organized in Morteau city center in the late 2000s and early 2010s (last documented editions around 2013).
