Street arts for July 14th in Vic-sur-Cère
The Festival des Arts Vicois is the artistic and festive event of Vic-sur-Cère for the national holiday. Every July 14th, this charming spa town in Carladès opens its streets to artists and celebrates the nation through creation in all its forms.
From the train station to the sports park, the streets of Vic-sur-Cère transform into a true artistic trail. Dozens of artists set up along the streets lined with stands and exhibitions:
The festival offers an exceptional showcase for local and regional artists, while attracting creators from further afield, in an atmosphere of popular celebration and sharing.
Beyond the artistic trail, the Festival des Arts Vicois is part of the July 14th national festivities. The day and evening unfold with a festive program:
Vic-sur-Cère thus vibrates to the sound of the fanfare and the rhythm of dance steps, under a sky illuminated by fireworks.
Nestled in the Cère Valley, at the foot of the Monts du Cantal, Vic-sur-Cère offers a remarkable natural setting for this event. The town, a former renowned spa resort, captivates with its characterful architecture, its half-timbered houses, its arcades, and its historical heritage. The Festival des Arts Vicois highlights this heritage by associating it with contemporary artistic creation, in a dialogue between tradition and modernity.
Whether you are an art lover, a fan of traditions, or simply looking for a festive family day out, July 14th in Vic-sur-Cère is an experience to be had in the heart of Cantal's Carladès.
