About Bandas Saint-Astier
The Festival des Bandas of Saint-Astier, also known as Nuit des Bandas, is a festive event organized by the Fet'Astier association since 1999. Every year in July, about ten bandas (street bands) invade the town center of Saint-Astier with their brass, percussion, and catchy melodies. Musicians parade through the streets and perform on two stages (Place du Général de Gaulle and Place du 14 Juillet) in a friendly and festive atmosphere of the Southwest.

The festival of brass bands in the Southwest
Since 1999, the Nuit des Bandas in Saint-Astier has become a must-attend event for lovers of bandas and street bands in the Southwest. Organized by the Fet'Astier association, the festival takes place every year in July over two evenings.
About ten bandas in the streets
Each edition brings together about ten bandas composed of over 250 musicians who parade through the town center of Saint-Astier with brass instruments, percussion, and various instruments. The bandas perform on two stages: the Place du Général de Gaulle and the Place du 14 Juillet.
Bodega and festive atmosphere
The festival begins on Friday evening with a Bodega evening with an aperitif, street band entertainment, and a paella meal (reservation required). On Saturday evening, the Nuit des Bandas itself transforms the town center into a huge open-air ball. Food and drinks are available throughout the evening.
