The Festival des Vins de Touraine is a leading wine event that takes place every year in November in the magnificent setting of the Prieuré Saint-Cosme in La Riche, the former home of the poet Pierre de Ronsard. Created in 2019, this festival has quickly established itself as a must-attend event for lovers of Touraine wines and heritage.

A heritage setting for Touraine AOC wines

The festival takes over the magnificent refectory of the Prieuré Saint-Cosme, a 11th-century historic monument surrounded by remarkable gardens. In this exceptional setting, about thirty estates and cellars from the AOC Touraine appellation present their vintages to visitors. The event allows you to discover the richness and diversity of Touraine wines: reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling wines from grape varieties such as cabernet franc, gamay, sauvignon blanc, and chenin.

Gourmet and cultural program

Each edition offers a rich program combining wine tasting and gastronomy: 6 culinary workshops led by renowned chefs and local producers, meditation and wine workshops, an oyster stand, food trucks, and a photobooth. The 2025 edition introduced the "Casino des vins", an immersive wine tasting experience combining tasting and games.

A family-friendly and accessible event

The Festival des Vins de Touraine is distinguished by its family-friendly nature with activities for children, including treasure hunts to discover the Prieuré Saint-Cosme. Entry is free, with only the tasting glass costing 3 €. Photographic exhibitions and a thematic bookstore complete the cultural offering.
