A classical music festival in the heart of the Pyrenean heritage
Since its creation, the Festival du Comminges has brought music to the remarkable buildings of the Pyrenean foothills: the Sainte-Marie Cathedral of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, the Saint-Just Basilica of Valcabrère, the Saint-Pierre Collegiate Church of Saint-Gaudens, the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Church of Cazères, and the Angonia Cultural Space of Martres-Tolosane.
The program highlights sacred music, in keeping with the places of worship that host it, without abandoning an openness to ancient and baroque, classical, romantic, and contemporary repertoires. The festival takes place over several weeks during the summer, with one concert every few days.
