About Festival du Feu
The Festival du Feu (Fire Festival) is a grand sound and light pyrotechnic show held every late August at the Maure-de-Bretagne racecourse, in Val d'Anast (Ille-et-Vilaine). Presented as Brittany's largest pyrotechnic show, it combines fireworks, light displays, and fire artist performances in an immersive scenography.

Festival du Feu β 2026 Edition
The 2026 edition of the Festival du Feu will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Maure-de-Bretagne racecourse, in the commune of Val d'Anast in Ille-et-Vilaine. The site opens its doors in the late afternoon and the evening continues until midnight.
For 2026, the organizers have expanded the pyrotechnic setup: the firing facade has increased from 200 to 300 meters wide, a rare dimension for this type of show. The one-hour sound and light show, with an immersive scenography, tells the story of the birth of Earth.
Before the show, the public can enjoy an artisan market, a tavern, numerous food trucks, and entertainment from street artists and musicians.

The Festival du Feu takes place at the Maure-de-Bretagne racecourse, in the commune of Val d'Anast in Ille-et-Vilaine, about forty kilometers south of Rennes. The event is announced by its organizers as Brittany's largest pyrotechnic show.
The day and evening are organized around a craft market, a tavern, food trucks, musicians, and street artists, who create a festive atmosphere before the main event.
