The wind animates the most beautiful village
The Festival du Vent invites visitors to discover the fascinating world of kites in the exceptional setting of Talmont-sur-Gironde, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. Organized by the association Les Vents du Tao, this festival transforms the medieval village into an open-air gallery where wind vanes, windmills, and international kites come alive with the estuary breezes.
Discovery and creativity for everyone
During four days from late May to early June, the festival offers demonstrations and kite flying from around the world, walks through the village streets to admire wind-powered creations, and crafting workshops for children (from €5). A small kite museum completes this immersion into the poetic and colorful universe of flying objects. The event takes place from 10 am to 6 pm in a friendly and family atmosphere.
