A contemporary music festival in the Southern Alps
The Festival Namaste was born from the desire of a local association to offer an accessible musical and artistic event for everyone in the Buëch region, a rural area in the Hautes-Alpes. Set up on the spectacular site of the Chevalet airfield in Aspres-sur-Buëch, the festival offers a unique setting between mountains and open sky, conducive to celebration and musical discovery.
An eclectic and committed program
The Festival Namaste program reflects the diversity of contemporary music: rap, hip-hop, reggae, electro, rock, soul, ska, and ragga share the stage during the Friday and Saturday evening concerts. The festival invites about ten groups and artists, mixing headliners and local discoveries, in a warm and danceable atmosphere. The Namaste spirit is about mixing genres and audiences, in a place that invites sharing.
Free activities for everyone
Beyond the concerts, Festival Namaste offers free activities open to all on Saturday during the day: a local producers' market, street art creations, theater, participatory workshops, and relaxation areas. This daytime segment allows families and the curious to enjoy the site in a relaxed atmosphere, before the music takes over in the evening.
Strong territorial roots
Festival Namaste supports its territory by offering musical and artistic activities and a craft market open to all. Camping is available on the festival site, with reserved pitches for tents and campervans. Parking is located in the immediate vicinity of the site, facilitating access for festival-goers from all over the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and beyond.
