The Parc du Natala, an open-air summer culture haven

Nestled in the Semm district, just a few minutes from Colmar's historic center, the Parc du Natala offers an ideal natural and shaded setting for an open-air festival. It is in this green space that the Fédération Hiéro, a pillar of the Alsatian independent music scene, has chosen to host its flagship summer event. Festival Natala transforms this park into a temporary living space where families, music lovers, cinephiles, and the curious mingle, united by the pleasure of artistic discovery under the trees.

An eclectic multi-arts program

Festival Natala is not just a simple concert festival. Its program embraces a variety of artistic disciplines, making it a unique event in the Colmar cultural landscape. Concerts form the core of the lineup, featuring artists carefully selected by the Hiéro team, exploring diverse aesthetics: indie rock, pop, blues, hip-hop, electrorock, and world music. Cine-concerts offer screenings of classic films accompanied by live musicians, creating unique audiovisual experiences. Open-air cinema invites spectators to discover films under the stars in an intimate and poetic atmosphere.

An intergenerational and participatory festival

The great strength of Festival Natala lies in its ability to bring together all generations. From the afternoon onwards, aperitif DJ sets gently kick off the festivities with ambient DJ sets. Creative workshops — light painting, mask making, optical illusions — engage children and adults. Petanque and foosball tournaments liven up the park in a summer garden party atmosphere. Visual projections by the Collectif Burstscratch adorn the trees and structures with colors and lights, extending the sensory experience throughout the night.

The Hiéro spirit: independence and discovery

The Fédération Hiéro, founded in 1991 in Mulhouse, also manages the Noumatrouff, a contemporary music venue labeled SMAC. With Festival Natala, Hiéro brings its expertise in discerning music programming and creating friendly events to Colmar. The artistic selection favors discoveries and emerging artists, offering a showcase for local, regional, and international talents who do not always benefit from the visibility of major circuits. This philosophy makes Natala an authentic festival, rooted in the values of independence and cultural sharing.
