About Adventure Nature
The Festival de l'Aventure et de la Nature (FAN) is a film festival hosted by the town of Lège-Cap-Ferret, located on the Bassin d'Arcachon peninsula in Gironde. It features a competition of feature films focused on travel, exploration, and environmental commitment, screened in Lège-Bourg and followed by Q&A sessions with the directors. Since its inception in 2022, the festival has held four editions, moving from September to November, and finally to April.

Adventure Nature — edition 2026
There is no 2026 edition of the Festival de l'Aventure et de la Nature currently scheduled. The last known event was the fourth edition, held from April 10 to 13, 2025; the festival's page on the Lège-Cap-Ferret town website has not been updated since, and the FAN Instagram account has been inactive since April 13, 2025.
2026 Edition
As of mid-August 2026, no 2026 edition of the Festival de l'Aventure et de la Nature has been announced, neither for April—the slot used for the previous two editions—nor for the autumn.
The festival's page on the Lège-Cap-Ferret town website concludes with the 4th edition, held from April 10 to 13, 2025, and has not been updated since March 25, 2025. The FAN Instagram account has not posted since April 13, 2025. The municipal magazine for August 2026, which outlines the schedule for the start of the school year through to Halloween, makes no mention of the festival. TV Cap Ferret and TVBA, which covered the 2023 and 2025 editions, have not reported on it in 2026. The festival's Weezevent ticketing page is no longer active.
However, no official cancellation or postponement has been announced. Furthermore, the FAN has never taken place in October: its four previous editions were held in September 2022, November 2023, and April 2024 and 2025.

The festival takes place in Lège-Cap-Ferret (33950), in Lège-Bourg: indoor screenings and the village are located on the town hall square, 79 avenue de la Mairie.
Tickets
2025 rates: single ticket €4.50, day pass €12, festival pass €45. 2023 rates: individual screening from €4, day pass €12, 3-day pass €29, reduced day pass €9 for students, job seekers, and Lège residents, free for children under 12. The Saturday evening open stage is free for both participants and the public.

A film festival supported by the town
Founded in 2022, the Festival de l'Aventure et de la Nature (FAN) is organized by the Municipality of Lège-Cap-Ferret. It showcases films dedicated to adventure, nature, and the great outdoors, inviting directors to engage with the audience after each screening.
Competition, juries, and festival village
The heart of the festival is a selection of feature films in competition, complemented by an opening film, a special screening, and a closing film. Three awards are presented: the Jury Prize, the Youth Jury Prize (awarded by local middle school students from Lège and youth from CAMÉO), and the Audience Award, based on viewer ratings.
Located on the square in front of the Lège-Bourg town hall, the FAN village hosts screenings, a photography exhibition, children's workshops, virtual reality experiences, a bookstore, food trucks, and a music stage.
The four editions
- 1st edition, September 9th to 11th, 2022: 7 feature films in competition and 2 out of competition, short films by local directors from the Bassin, the "Voler prend 2 L" show, virtual reality sessions, two open-air screenings, adventure preparation workshops, photo exhibitions, and a village featuring local artisans and equipment suppliers. Jury Prize: "Huis clos sous les étoiles" by Emmanuel and Maximilien Berque; Youth Jury Prize: "Cholitas" by Jaime Murciego Tagarro and Pablo Iraburu Allegue; Audience Award: "Rosy" by Marine Barnerias.
- 2nd edition, November 17th to 19th, 2023, at the Halle de Lège-Bourg: 6 films in competition, 3 out of competition, with attendance increasing by 50%. Jury Prize: "Polaris" by Ainara Vera; Audience Award and Youth Jury Prize: "La Petite Bande" by Pierre Salvadori; special mention for "La Panthère des neiges".
- 3rd edition, April 12th to 14th, 2024.
- 4th edition, April 10th to 13th, 2025, programmed by director Cristèle Alves Meira: village open from Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 5 films in competition, youth programming, a conference on Land Art, a concert by local young musicians, and an open stage for amateur musicians on Saturday, April 12th, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the town hall square.
