About Adventure Nature
The Adventure and Nature Festival (FAN) is a film festival organized by the City of Lège-Cap-Ferret, on the peninsula of the Bassin d'Arcachon in Gironde. Each spring, it celebrates cinema, nature, and adventure through a selection of travel, exploration, and environmental commitment films, followed by discussions with the directors.
The Adventure and Nature Festival, Cap Ferret's Cinema Event
Created in 2022, the Adventure and Nature Festival (FAN) is a film festival supported by the City of Lège-Cap-Ferret (Gironde). It honors films dedicated to adventure, nature, and the great outdoors, and gives a voice to directors and enthusiasts who come to share their stories of exploration and environmental awareness.
A Film Competition and Meetings
The heart of the festival is a selection of feature films in competition, each followed by a discussion session with the public in the presence of the directors. Several out-of-competition screenings (opening film, special screening, closing film) complete the program. Three awards are presented: a jury prize, a youth prize (composed of middle school students from Lège), and an audience prize.
The FAN Village
On the forecourt of the Lège-Bourg town hall, the festival village offers screenings, a photographic exhibition, children's workshops, virtual reality, a bookstore, a food truck, and DJ sets, in a friendly atmosphere open to all audiences.
