Vibrations Urbaines, hip-hop culture in Pessac
Vibrations Urbaines is a festival dedicated to urban cultures and hip-hop, rooted in Pessac since 2006. For ten days each autumn, it transforms the city into a playground for fans of music, dance, action sports, and urban visual arts.
Music and Dance
The festival features rap, hip-hop, and urban music concerts, as well as dance battles (breakdance, hip-hop, house). These moments of competition and sharing attract dancers and artists from all over France.
Urban Sports
Vibrations Urbaines hosts skateboard, BMX, roller, and scooter competitions on specially designed facilities. These disciplines attract a young and dynamic audience.
Street Art and Workshops
The festival takes over the walls of Pessac with murals created by street art artists. Participatory workshops allow the public to discover the various urban culture disciplines.
