About Festival of Andouillette
Festival of Andouillette — edition 2026
The Andouillette and White Wine Festival returns on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Clamecy, faithful to the tradition launched in 1977. Two days of tastings, concerts, competitions, and festive entertainment in the city center to celebrate Clamecy's famous andouillette accompanied by the best white wines of Burgundy.
2026 Edition — Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4
The 49th edition of the Andouillette and White Wine Festival will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 (6 PM - 11 PM) and Saturday, July 4, 2026 (11:30 AM - 5 PM) in Clamecy city center, mainly on Avenue de la République and adjacent streets.
Program
The city's cafés, restaurants, and bars offer special menus and plates featuring Clamecy's andouillette, prepared in all its forms — grilled, with white wine, on a skewer — and accompanied by regional white wines (Pouilly-Fumé, Sancerre, Bourgogne Vézelay).
The edition also includes outdoor tastings, concerts animating the city center's squares and terraces, as well as traditional competitions: best artisanal andouillette, biggest andouillette eater, and election of Miss Andouillette.
The event is co-organized by the Association Clam-vy.com (association of merchants, artisans, and liberal professions of Clamecy) and the City of Clamecy.
Access
Free and open access to all street entertainment, concerts, and competitions. Food and drinks are chargeable at participating establishments and at the stands set up for the occasion.

The Andouillette of Clamecy, a Renowned Local Specialty
The andouillette of Clamecy is a charcuterie specialty from the Nièvre region that enjoys a fine reputation throughout Burgundy. Prepared from veal caul and seasoned according to recipes passed down through generations, it is distinguished by its finesse and characteristic flavor. Paired with a local white wine — Pouilly-Fumé, Sancerre, or Bourgogne Vézelay — it constitutes an emblematic gastronomic pairing of the Nièvre terroir.
A Popular Festival Since 1977
Since 1977, the Festival of Andouillette and White Wine has celebrated this local specialty in the heart of the Land of the Wood Floaters. Every first weekend of July, the streets, squares, and terraces of Clamecy come alive to pay homage to this regional product. The town's cafés and restaurants offer special menus featuring andouillette, prepared in multiple ways: grilled, in white wine sauce, on skewers, in salad, or revisited by local chefs.
Contests, Entertainment, and Conviviality
The festival program is rich in popular entertainment and moments of conviviality. The best andouillette contest rewards the charcuterie artisans who perpetuate the tradition with the most talent. The biggest andouillette eater contest attracts many daring contestants and amused spectators. The election of Miss Andouillette adds a touch of humor and good cheer to the event.
Open-air concerts set the rhythm for both evenings, transforming the town center into a large open-air dance floor. Street entertainment, games, and tasting stands complete the program of this resolutely popular and generous festival.
A Unifying Event for Clamecy
The Festival of Andouillette and White Wine is one of the highlights of the Clamecy calendar. It attracts several thousand visitors each year from all over Burgundy and beyond, contributing to the gastronomic and tourist appeal of this small town with its remarkable heritage, nestled between the Morvan and the Yonne valley.
