The Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier is one of the biggest summer music events in France. Every July, it brings together a large audience around classical music, jazz, contemporary music, and electro, with an ambitious and accessible program: exceptional soloists, major orchestras, ensembles, and singers perform alongside repertoire masterpieces and more daring projects.

The festival takes place in about ten emblematic venues in Montpellier and its metropolitan area: the Opéra Berlioz and Salle Pasteur of Le Corum, the Opéra Comédie, the Domaine d'O, the Musée Fabre, private mansions, as well as public spaces. Nearly half of the events are free, making the festival a great popular celebration of music.

Festival Radio France — edition 2026

The 41st edition of the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier will take place from July 5 to 18, 2026 in Montpellier and its metropolitan area. Under the theme of love ("Of Music and Love"), it explores romanticism and its passions, from the eternal lovers of Tristan and Isolde to the heroes of Romeo and Juliet, with over 100 events and nearly 900 artists.

Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier — 2026 Edition

The 41st edition of the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier takes place from July 5 to 18, 2026, on the theme "Of Music and Love". For two weeks, classical music, opera, jazz, electro, and recitals will be shared across a dozen venues in Montpellier and its metropolitan area, from the Corum to Domaine d'O.

The festival opens on Sunday, July 5 with a large free concert, and offers about thirty free-access concerts in the metropolitan communes, true to its popular vocation (nearly half of the events are free).
