About Fête de la Musique in Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire
Every June 21, Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival) in its city center: open stage, open-air concerts, and shows take over the squares and streets of the Nièvre town. Organized by the City of Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire, the day is entirely free and features pop rock, rockabilly, youth shows, and DJ sets, from the afternoon until the heart of the night.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from mid-afternoon until the heart of the night, across all genres and for all audiences.
A festival spread throughout the city center
The heart of Cosne comes alive around several stages: the open stage at Square Gambon, the Musée de la Loire, Boulevard de la République, Rue Saint-Agnan, and Place Clémenceau successively host concerts, shows, and DJ sets. The City invites amateur and experienced musicians, of all genres, to perform on the open stage: « that's what the Fête de la Musique is all about: music liberated, shared, alive ».

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire will take place on Sunday, June 21st, free of charge in the city center. Open stage at Square Gambon, show for young audiences at the Musée de la Loire, pop rock and rockabilly concerts in the streets, followed by a DJ set to close the event at Place Clémenceau.

Jim and The Beams (rockabilly).
Place Clémenceau — 10 PM-1 AM
DJ Ludo (DJ set) to close the evening.
