The Saint-Pierre Festival, patron saint festival of fishermen and seafarers, returns to Valras-Plage from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, 2026. Three days of maritime traditions, music, Languedoc jousts, procession, and fireworks in the fishermen's village and along the Orb.
Saint-Pierre Festival 2026 in Valras-Plage
From June 26 to 28, 2026, Valras-Plage celebrates Saint-Pierre, patron saint of fishermen. This traditional festival of the Hérault coast combines maritime fervor, festive entertainment, and local heritage: bandas, concerts, nautical jousts on the Orb, fishing competitions, procession, and fireworks from the pier. Free entry for all activities.

Friday, June 26, 2026
- 7:15 PM — Parade by the banda Mescladis from the Palais de la Mer to the fishermen's village
- 8:00 PM — Official launch of festivities by the Mayor in the fishermen's village, followed by a concert by Floréal Vaquerin
- 9:00 PM — Concert with DJ Cassou in the fishermen's village
- 11:00 PM — Fireworks display from the pier, followed by musical entertainment with DJ Cassou until 12:30 AM

- 10:00 AM — Beach volleyball tournament on De Gaulle beach
- 10:00 AM-12:00 PM — Paddle descent with Les Rameurs de l'Orb (departure from Pont Rouge in Sérignan, arrival at Esplanade Turco)
- 11:00 AM-12:00 PM — Culinary demonstrations and tastings by the Confrérie de la Pignate
- 2:30 PM — Pétanque competition (doubles), De Gaulle beach parking lot
- 2:30 PM-6:00 PM — François Motis Challenge, traditional rowing regatta on the Orb (trophy presentation at 7:00 PM in the fishermen's village)
- 7:30 PM-12:30 AM — Musical entertainment with DJ Cassou in the fishermen's village
Sunday, June 28, 2026
- Morning — Sea fishing competition (Henri Caumes Challenge), weigh-in around 12:00 PM near the harbor master's office
- 2:30 PM — Pétanque competition (triples), De Gaulle beach parking lot
- 4:00 PM — Jousters' parade in the city center from the Palais de la Mer, followed by the Languedoc jousting tournament from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM on the Orb
- 7:30 PM-12:30 AM — Musical entertainment with DJ Cassou in the fishermen's village
