Free street arts festival organized annually by the City of Saint-Jean-de-Védas on the second weekend of September. Two days of live performances (theatre, dance, circus, acrobatics, concerts) that take over the streets and squares of the city center. Festin de Rue is an unmissable event in the cultural life of Saint-Jean-de-Védas and the Hérault department, in Occitanie. Organized by the City since its creation in 2009, this street arts festival annually brings together several thousand spectators who come to enjoy an eclectic and completely free program.
The festival is held annually on the second weekend of September, over two days (Saturday and Sunday). Theatre, dance, circus, acrobatics, street performances, and concerts follow one another in the streets, squares, and public spaces of the city center. The program brings together about thirty companies and over sixty performances throughout the weekend. Admission to all performances is free.
Located in the heart of Saint-Jean-de-Védas, Festin de Rue takes advantage of the commune's heritage setting (Place Victor Hugo, Allée Joseph Cambon, streets of the town center). The event fully contributes to the cultural attractiveness of the Hérault department and promotes street arts to all audiences. The event is part of an eco-responsible approach in partnership with the Elémen'terre association to limit its environmental impact.
Beyond the shows, food trucks and catering points are set up on site. The event is supported by municipal services, with the help of numerous volunteers. The warm welcome from organizers and volunteers makes each edition a moment of sharing and conviviality open to all audiences, whether with family or friends.

The 2026 edition of Festin de Rue will take place on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, 2026, in Saint-Jean-de-Védas, in the Hérault department. For two days, the city center will host a street art program: theatre, dance, circus, acrobatics, wandering performances, and concerts to close each evening. All performances are free and open to all.

The event continues its eco-responsible approach in partnership with the Elémen'terre association to limit the environmental impact of the event.
