Circus comes to the Berry countryside

The Fête des Cabérioles is a unique event born from the desire of the association l'Assolstice to bring circus arts and performing arts to rural areas. Since 2010, this festival has been held in Luzeret, a small village in the Indre region nestled in the heart of the Brenne Regional Natural Park, in a rural and authentic setting. Amidst fields and meadows, a big top rises to host contemporary circus shows, music, and cabaret.

Circus and music shows

The program of the Fête des Cabérioles mixes contemporary circus, live music, and cabaret. The invited companies present shows combining acrobatics, juggling, clowning, and physical theater, in a spirit of proximity and sharing with the audience. In the evening, the cabaret under the big top offers an intimate and festive atmosphere, mixing circus acts and musical performances. Duets of classical music, solos of symphonic guitar, and other surprising artistic proposals have marked past editions.

Creative workshops for children

The Fête des Cabérioles places a central focus on young audiences. In the afternoon, creative workshops are offered to children: introduction to circus arts (juggling, balance, acrobatics), engraving, pottery, and other manual activities led by artists and craftspeople. A toy library and a play area complete the offerings for families, making this event a special time for discovery and artistic practice for the youngest.

Local food and conviviality

True to its territorial roots, the Fête des Cabérioles offers homemade food prepared with local products from the farms and producers of the Brenne region. A bar with artisanal drinks accompanies the festivities. Parking is available on site. The event, supported by the Brenne Regional Natural Park, embodies a vision of accessible, friendly culture that respects its rural environment. It contributes to the cultural animation of this remarkable territory for its biodiversity and its pond landscapes.
