2026 Edition
For its 2026 edition, the Fête du Pineau is changing seasons: the town of Châteauneuf-sur-Charente has scheduled it for Saturday, June 20th, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, under the Mairie market hall — rather than at the end of summer as in the previous two years (August 31st in 2024, September 13th in 2025).
Pineau producers at the heart of the festival
Pineau des Charentes producers will set up their stands under the covered market hall to offer their vintages for tasting. The tasting glass is €2.
Local produce platter and musical entertainment
A platter of local products is served on-site for €5, including a tasting glass of Pineau — prices set by the municipal council resolution of June 5th, 2026. The band Vibration17 will provide musical entertainment throughout the morning under the market hall.
Free admission
Admission to the event is free: only the tastings and the local produce platter are charged. The festival is held in the heart of the town center, under the Mairie market hall, just a stone's throw from the town hall.
