Concert, popular ball and fireworks at Parc de Bicêtre
Every July 14th, the town of Kremlin-Bicêtre (94270) invites its residents to celebrate the National Day at the legendary Parc de Bicêtre, one of the most important green spaces in the south of Paris. This vast park offers an exceptional setting for the republican celebration, combining greenery, open spaces, and a clear view ideal for fireworks.
The July 14th program in Kremlin-Bicêtre is designed to offer a complete evening: conviviality, music, dancing, and pyrotechnic show. Festivities begin in the early evening with a republican aperitif offered by the town, followed by a participatory picnic that encourages residents to share their dishes and gather in a relaxed atmosphere.
A drink stand run by local firefighters and food trucks complete the catering offer, allowing everyone to enjoy an evening without worrying about logistics.
Music plays a central role in the Fête Nationale du Kremlin-Bicêtre. In 2025, the evening was marked by two musical highlights. The band Family Affair kicked things off with a funk-rock set with Motown influences, playing rhythm and blues classics that got the audience moving.
The evening then took an even more festive turn with the show Waack in Paris, a group combining a DJ and dancers specializing in waacking, funk, and disco styles. These dances originating from the 1970s captivated the Bicêtre audience, young and old, in a resolutely festive and lively atmosphere.
At 11 p.m., the traditional fireworks display concludes the festivities. Fired from Parc de Bicêtre, this pyromusical show lights up the southern Parisian sky and attracts spectators from surrounding towns. The heights of Kremlin-Bicêtre offer remarkable visibility of the fireworks, visible from many points in the park and surrounding streets.
Parc de Bicêtre is intimately linked to the history of the town and the region. Located on the hillside overlooking Paris, it offers a panoramic view of the capital and its surroundings. This historic park, adjacent to Bicêtre hospital (one of the oldest in France), is the scene of intense cultural and associative life throughout the year, and the National Day is one of its annual highlights.
Every year, the town of Kremlin-Bicêtre strives to offer a quality program that reflects the republican values and cultural diversity of its population. Free access, mixed audiences, and the richness of the program make this event a true symbol of local social cohesion.
The town of Kremlin-Bicêtre will renew its 2026 National Day celebration at Parc de Bicêtre. True to its commitment to a popular and free celebration, the evening will feature concerts, entertainment, and fireworks.
