Valras-Plage Votive Festival 2026 — Saint-Pierre
The Valras-Plage votive festival is the Saint-Pierre Festival, the patron saint festival of the fishing village, celebrated in memory of sailors lost at sea. The 2026 edition takes place from Friday, June 26th to Sunday, June 28th, 2026 in Valras-Plage, in Hérault, in the heart of the fishing village and on the seafront.
Three days of free festivities combining maritime traditions, band parades, concerts, fireworks, Languedoc jousts on the Orb, mass, and a lantern procession of the statue of Saint-Pierre.
Programme Fête Votive de Valras-Plage 2026
Friday, June 26th, 2026
- 7:15 PM — Banda parade from the Palais de la Mer to the fishing village
- 8:00 PM — Official launch of the festival, concert by Floréal Vaquerin in the fishing village
- 9:00 PM — Concert / DJ Cassou
- 11:00 PM — Fireworks display from the port jetty, followed by a musical evening until 12:30 AM
Saturday, June 27th, 2026
- Guided tours of the fishing village, beach volleyball, SNSM demonstrations
- 12:00 PM-2:00 PM — Mouclade in the fishing village (paid, no reservation)
- 2:00 PM-5:00 PM — Sea regatta
- 2:30 PM — Pétanque competition
- 7:30 PM-12:30 AM — DJ Cassou evening in the fishing village
Sunday, June 28th, 2026
- 10:00 AM — Mass in the Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours church
- 11:00 AM — Procession through the town streets and wreath laying (harbour master's office and lighthouse)
- 12:00 PM-2:00 PM — Mouclade in the fishing village
- 2:30 PM — Pétanque competition
- 4:00 PM — Jousters' parade
- 4:30 PM-6:30 PM — Languedoc jousting tournament on the Orb
- 10:00 PM — Processional return of the statue of Saint-Pierre with lanterns
