World Music Festival at the Théâtre de la Mer in Sète
Fiest'A Sète is the world music festival of Sète, in Hérault, Occitanie. Every summer, it takes over the exceptional setting of the Théâtre de la Mer Jean Vilar, an open-air amphitheater overlooking the Mediterranean, for a series of thematic evenings bringing together international artists. Supported by the Métisète association, the festival has established itself over the editions as a reference in world music, attracting every summer a loyal and curious audience eager to discover artists from Mali, Togo, Brazil, the United States, Tunisia, Mexico, and beyond.
The heart of the festival beats at the Théâtre de la Mer Jean Vilar, an open-air amphitheater located on the heights of Sète, facing the Mediterranean. This emblematic venue hosts a series of thematic evenings featuring headliners and discoveries from the global scene. Before these evenings, a first week of free concerts enlivens Poussan and several Sète venues (Le Dancing, La Ola), to share the celebration with the widest possible audience.
Located in the heart of Sète, Fiest'A Sète takes advantage of the exceptional setting of the commune and its maritime heritage. The event fully contributes to the tourist attractiveness of the Hérault department and promotes the cultural richness of the Occitanie region. The 29th edition of Fiest'A Sète takes place from July 18 to August 3, 2026 in Sète, Hérault. After a first week of free concerts in Poussan and Sète, the world music festival takes over the Théâtre de la Mer Jean Vilar for six themed evenings (July 29 to August 3), featuring artists from Mali, Togo, Brazil, the United States, Tunisia, and Mexico, including Fatoumata Diawara, Dhafer Youssef, Ballaké Sissoko & Piers Faccini, and Fantastic Negrito.
For its 29th edition, from July 18 to August 3, 2026, Fiest'A Sète unfolds its program in two parts. Evenings at the Théâtre de la Mer: from 42 € to 46 € per evening (39 € to 43 € for members). 2-evening pass: from 77 € to 85 €. 6-evening pass: 222 €. Free for children up to 10 years old accompanied. The first week of concerts in Poussan and Sète is free.
