Fleurs de Jazz en Morvan: Jazz in the Village
Every year on Ascension weekend, the small village of Larochemillay, nestled in the heart of the Morvan Regional Natural Park, becomes the ephemeral capital of jazz in Nièvre. Since 2014, the Fleurs de Jazz en Morvan festival has been offering quality concerts in a preserved natural setting, combining musical pleasure and rural conviviality.
A Festival Born of Passion
In 2014, a team of jazz and Morvan enthusiasts decided to establish a jazz festival in the heart of the territory, with the aim of sharing, exchanging, and bringing pleasure through music in an exceptional natural setting. This initiative, supported by many volunteers, has become a must-attend musical event in the Morvan.
Eclectic and High-Quality Programming
The festival offers high-level, eclectic, and varied programming, featuring musical groups primarily from the Burgundy and Franche-Comté scenes. While jazz is at the core of the project, the programming is not limited to it and opens up to other musical universes: blues, swing, improvised music, chanson. The main goal is to evoke emotion and conviviality.
More Than a Festival: A Season of Village Concerts
Beyond the Ascension weekend, the association schedules concerts throughout the year in the villages of Morvan. This "village concert season" keeps music alive closer to the residents, in community halls, barns, or outdoors, thus contributing to the cultural revitalization of rural areas.

Getting There
By Car: Larochemillay is located in the south of Morvan, 55 km from Nevers and 25 km from Autun. Access via the D978 then departmental roads through the Morvan countryside. Free parking in the villages where concerts are held. Winding but scenic roads.
By Carpooling: Carpooling is recommended from Nevers or Autun.
Concert Venues
Concerts are held in village halls, churches, and outdoor venues in the Morvan villages: Larochemillay, Villapourçon, Saint-Honoré-les-Bains, and other towns depending on the editions. The atmosphere is warm, and the proximity to the artists is exceptional.
Ticketing
2-day pass for Ascension weekend: approximately €30 (2 concerts). Single tickets also available. Online ticketing on the festival website. Booking recommended, as capacity in village halls is limited.
Accommodation
Gîtes, B&Bs, and campsites in the Morvan region. Ascension weekend is a busy period, so book in advance. Southern Morvan offers charming accommodations in the heart of nature.
Dining
