The largest trade fair in the Nièvre since 1932
The Foire de Nevers is the largest commercial and artisanal event in the Nièvre department. Organized by Nivexpo since 1932, this trade fair brings together hundreds of exhibitors—artisans, merchants, local producers, and businesses—in a vast exhibition space for about ten days each year. Since 2025, the fair has been held at the new Nevers Agora multi-purpose complex. With approximately 50,000 visitors per edition, themed entertainment, and free admission, the Foire de Nevers is a must-attend event for the economic and festive life of Nevers.
The Foire de Nevers was born in 1932, between the two World Wars, as a showcase for the economic and artisanal dynamism of the Nièvre region. For over ninety years, this event has grown to become the most important commercial event in the department, attracting nearly 50,000 visitors each year and bringing together hundreds of exhibitors from all over Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and beyond.
Since the 2025 edition, the Foire de Nevers has moved to the brand-new Nevers Agora multi-purpose complex, a modern and spacious facility offering optimal conditions for both exhibitors and visitors. This move marks a turning point in the fair's history, as it was previously held at the Parc des Expositions. Nevers Agora allows for stands to be set up in air-conditioned halls and offers outdoor spaces for entertainment.
The Foire de Nevers brings together hundreds of exhibitors in various fields: housing, decoration, gardening, gastronomy, local products, crafts, automotive, wellness, new technologies, and services. Visitors can find local products, home innovations, leisure ideas, and professional advice.
Each edition features a major themed exhibition that is a highlight of the visit. The 2026 edition will spotlight Japan and manga with an immersive exhibition retracing Japanese history, traditions, and contemporary culture through a labyrinth-shaped scenographic tour. Concerts, fashion shows, tastings, and children's activities complete the program.
The Foire de Nevers is distinguished by its free admission, making it a truly popular event accessible to all. For about ten days, families, curious individuals, professionals, and lovers of good products gather in the aisles of Nevers Agora to discover, compare, taste, and do business. The fair is also a time for conviviality and encounters that punctuate the Nevers calendar.
The Foire de Nevers 2026 will be held from April 4 to 12 at Nevers Agora, featuring a major Japan/Manga exhibition and hundreds of exhibitors. Free admission.
