Gallésie en Fête — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Gallésie en Fête takes place on June 27 and 28, 2026, in Monterfil (Ille-et-Vilaine), preceded by an opening concert on Friday, June 26. This edition marks the 50th anniversary of the traditional Gallese culture festival, featuring fest-noz, fest-deiz, concerts, storytelling, Breton games and sports in the heart of the Gallo country.
Gallésie en Fête 2026 — 50th Anniversary
For its fiftieth anniversary, Gallésie en Fête takes over Monterfil on the last weekend of June 2026 (June 27 and 28), with a curtain-raiser starting on Friday, June 26. The festival celebrates the living culture of the Gallo country: traditional music, fest-noz and fest-deiz, storytelling, dance competitions, Breton games and sports, and on-site catering all weekend long.
Admission to the festival site is free. The festivities take place in several locations within the commune: the Place du cochon grillé, la Prée and la Terrasse de la Bétangeais, le Bois des Anches, la Fontaine aux contes, and the Église de Monterfil for the opening concert.
