A human-sized festival perched above Lake Serre-Ponçon

Game of Trees is a multidisciplinary festival that takes place every summer at the Orres resort, in the Hautes-Alpes, at over 1,600 meters altitude. Perched above Lake Serre-Ponçon, this summer event brings together music, art, sport, and nature in an exceptional mountain setting. Created in 2022 by the association À 2 Pas de la Scène, an ESUS-certified social and solidarity economy enterprise, the festival has established itself in a few editions as a must-see event of the Hautes-Alpes summer.

Music, dance, and live performance at altitude

The musical program of Game of Trees combines established artists and emerging talents, with headliners from French chanson, electro, and contemporary music. Concerts are held on several stages, including free high-altitude concerts during the day that allow you to experience music in the heart of nature. The festival also features aerial dance, theater, street arts, and live performances, offering a rich and varied artistic experience.

Nature, sport, and immersive workshops

True to its environmental commitment, Game of Trees offers immersive nature workshops in the Enchanted Forest: tree climbing with Papa Ours Nature, poetic and scientific walks, plant-based activities, and sensory experiences. The sports component complements the program with mountain and eco-adventure activities, while film screenings, exhibitions, writing and painting workshops, and a local market enrich the cultural offerings.

An eco-responsible commitment rooted in the territory

The Game of Trees festival is part of a strong eco-responsible approach, questioning climate issues and celebrating the mountains as a space for life and creation. Supported by the Région Sud, the Département des Hautes-Alpes, and the Ministère de la Culture, the event benefits from strong territorial roots and contributes to the summer animation of the Orres resort. Free buses facilitate access to the site, and on-site catering allows you to fully experience the festival.

Memorable editions

Since its creation, Game of Trees has hosted renowned artists: Bénabar, Kimberose, and Cats on Trees in its first edition in 2022, Yannick Noah, Deluxe, and Suzane in 2023, Worakls Orchestra, Pomme, and Cerrone in 2024, and Thomas Dutronc, Olivia Ruiz, and Emma Peters in 2025. Each edition explores a theme related to the environment and energies, reinforcing the unique identity of this mountain festival.
