The Grand Tournoi is a sporting and festive event dedicated to collective equestrian sports, organized annually at the Parc Équestre Fédéral in Lamotte-Beuvron by the Fédération Française d'Équitation. For three days, over 2,500 riders compete in four spectacular disciplines: horse-ball, pony-games, horse archery, and paddock polo. With 570 teams registered and 70 French championship titles awarded, the Grand Tournoi has become the unmissable event for collective equestrian sports in France. Admission is free and the atmosphere is decidedly friendly.
The Grand Tournoi is a unique event in France dedicated to collective equestrian sports. Organized annually at the Parc Équestre Fédéral in Lamotte-Beuvron by the Fédération Française d'Équitation, it brings together the best players of horse-ball, pony-games, horse archery, and paddock polo from all over France and overseas for three days.

Access to the Grand Tournoi is completely free, in line with the FFE's commitment to making equestrian sports accessible to as many people as possible. Beyond the competitions, the event offers activities, introductions to the different disciplines, and equestrian shows that appeal to a family audience. The exhibitor village allows visitors to discover the world of horses and collective equestrian sports.
The Grand Tournoi is part of the equestrian tradition of Lamotte-Beuvron, which hosts the FFE's major events every summer at its 400-hectare Parc Équestre Fédéral. This exceptional site, the largest equestrian park in Europe, offers top-tier facilities for organizing high-level competitions.
The Grand Tournoi takes place at the Parc Équestre Fédéral, 41600 Lamotte-Beuvron, in Loir-et-Cher.
The Parc Équestre Fédéral is accessible from the RN20, between Orléans and Vierzon. Free parking is available on site.
The Lamotte-Beuvron SNCF station is a 5-minute drive and a 15-minute walk from the park. Trains run from Paris-Austerlitz and Vierzon.
Competitions and activities take place over three days, from Friday to Sunday, approximately from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Admission to the Grand Tournoi is completely free for the public.
Catering stands are available on site throughout the event.
