A nationally renowned fair in the heart of the Loire Valley

For over thirty years, the Orléans Gastronomy & Wine Fair has established itself as one of the major gastronomic events in Centre-Val de Loire. Organized by Orléans Events at the CO'Met – Parc des Expositions du Loiret, this event brings together over 250 exhibitors on 10,700 m² of covered space each autumn, attracting more than 20,000 visitors eager to discover, taste, and purchase exceptional products from French terroirs.

A gourmet panorama of French terroirs

The fair offers an exceptional showcase for local and regional producers from Centre-Val de Loire, as well as exhibitors from all over France. Aged cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, foie gras, chocolates, jams, olive oils, spices, fine pastries, and regional specialties make up an incomparably rich tasting journey. The Centre Pavilion, spanning over 500 m², specifically highlights about fifty certified companies from the Centre-Val de Loire region, representing nearly a quarter of the exhibitors.

On the wine side, winemakers and wine estates present their vintages: Loire Valley wines, appellations from the Loire Valley, but also crus from Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Rhône Valley, and other French vineyards. Visitors can taste, compare, and purchase directly from producers for the end-of-year holidays.

Culinary demonstrations and gourmet workshops

The fair is not just about buying products; it offers a rich program of activities that immerse visitors in the art of French cuisine. Live cooking demonstrations, led by renowned chefs and sponsored by major figures in gastronomy, allow attendees to discover techniques, recipes, and food and wine pairings. Students from the Lycée Hôtelier de l'Orléanais actively participate in these workshops, embodying the next generation of French gastronomy.

Participatory workshops invite young and old to get hands-on: recipe creation, pastry initiation, discovery of spices and herbs. The « Graines de Gourmets » competition pits young culinary talents against each other, adding a fun and festive dimension to the event.

An event rooted in the territory

The Orléans Gastronomy & Wine Fair benefits from the support of the Région Centre-Val de Loire, the Département du Loiret, and the Métropole d'Orléans. It is part of the Nouvelles Renaissance(s) program, a cultural and heritage label of the Region. Each edition is sponsored by a renowned chef: Guillaume Goupil, Michelin-starred chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2022, sponsored the 32nd edition in 2025, while Marie Gricourt, chef of the restaurant Le Gric in Orléans, was the sponsor of the 2024 edition.

Beyond gastronomy, the fair offers a bookstore space in partnership with Cultura, book signings with culinary authors, and a tableware area showcasing iconic brands like Duralex, a flagship industrial company of the Loiret.

A family-friendly and convivial event

Designed for all audiences, the fair welcomes families with activities for children, fun challenges around fruits and vegetables with Interfel and its « Jamais Trop Mixte ! » campaign, as well as an on-site dining area. The « 45 À TABLE » ephemeral restaurant, created in 2024, offers signature menus developed by Loiret chefs, providing a complete gastronomic experience right in the heart of the fair.
