Hoora Festival

A traveling hip-hop festival in Corrèze

Hoora Festival is a cultural event dedicated to hip-hop and urban cultures, organized every spring in several municipalities in Corrèze and beyond: Égletons, Tulle, Uzerche, as well as Limoges and Clermont-Ferrand. Driven by the association Des Lendemains Qui Chantent, the festival stands out for its traveling and decentralized approach, bringing hip-hop culture to rural areas often far from major urban scenes.

Concerts, battles, and urban culture workshops

The festival offers an eclectic program combining French rap concerts, breakdance battles, slam performances, graffiti workshops, and music production initiations. Hoora doesn't just bring headliners: the festival is committed to promoting young local and regional talents through the Kick-Off program, a springboard allowing emerging artists to perform on stage and benefit from professional support.

Keeping hip-hop alive in rural areas

Hoora's originality lies in its territorial anchoring. Rather than concentrating the event in a single city, the festival spreads across several municipalities, thus reaching a large and diverse audience. In Égletons, concerts and activities take place in public and cultural venues in the town, creating a unique encounter between the codes of urban cultures and the rural environment of Corrèze. This approach aims to democratize access to urban arts and deconstruct prejudices.

Hoora Festival champions values of sharing, respect, and creativity. The workshops and meetings organized during the festival allow participants, young and old, to be introduced to the different disciplines of hip-hop: dance, lyric writing, beatmaking, graffiti. The festival also highlights social themes (fight against discrimination, civic expression) and promotes artistic and cultural diversity.
