Practical information — Tulle Games Festival
Admission is free for all tables and activities. Food and drinks are available on-site on Sunday lunchtimes, depending on the year. The Salle de l'Auzelou is located on Avenue du Lieutenant-Colonel Faro in Tulle, about five minutes from the city center.
An event hosted by the Tulle toy library
The festival was launched in 2018 by Air de Jeux, Tulle's local toy library, which has been lending and showcasing nearly 800 games from its premises on Avenue Alsace-Lorraine. For the event, the association transforms the Salle de l'Auzelou into a giant gaming space, with tables categorized by age and interest: early learning for toddlers, family board games, strategy games, and wooden games.
Subsequent editions have expanded the format to include a game and toy swap meet, meet-and-greets with authors and publishers, Kapla and Lego building workshops, escape games, and puzzle challenges. In 2023, sign language interpretation was introduced to make the tables accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors. In 2025, to celebrate the toy library's tenth anniversary, the festival expanded to a second venue, the Salle Des Lendemains Qui Chantent, featuring video game tournaments, a giant game of Werewolf, and karaoke.
