Images de Justice — edition 2026
The 23rd edition of the Images de Justice festival took place from Thursday, January 29 to Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Rennes, organized by the Comptoir du Doc association. Under the theme « Filming Your Enemy », this documentary film edition featured 7 films and a series of meetings with filmmakers, questioning how to film « the other side » without reducing or betraying oneself.
Images de Justice 2026 — « Filming Your Enemy »
From January 29 to February 1, 2026, the 23rd edition of the Images de Justice documentary film festival took over several venues in Rennes (Parlement de Bretagne, 360 – Maison des associations, BAM – Bâtiment à Modeler, Cinéma Arvor). Organized for over twenty years by the Comptoir du Doc association, this unique event in France questions the judicial institution through documentary film and fosters dialogue between filmmakers, justice professionals, and citizens.
The 2026 Theme
Under the title « Filming Your Enemy », the program brought together 7 films and discussions, exploring a current and uncomfortable question: how to make a film about « the other » without reducing them, whitewashing them, betraying oneself, or transforming them into a mere silhouette useful to the narrative? An international selection, from Lebanon to Indonesia, including France, Iran, and Palestine.

The exhibition « La conviction de l'ombre » accompanied the festival at the Parlement de Bretagne from January 29 to March 2, 2026.
