About International Record and Comic Book Festival
Since 1989, the Église des Dominicains in Perpignan has hosted the International Record and Comic Book Festival every last weekend of September. A fair featuring vinyl records, cassettes, and CDs brings together around eighty exhibitors from across Europe, joined since 2010 by a comic book section with about ten authors signing their work. The event is organized by the FID&BD association, founded by Jean Casagran.
International Record and Comic Book Festival — edition 2026
The 38th edition takes place on September 26th and 27th, 2026, at the Église des Dominicains. It brings together around eighty record exhibitors from across Europe and a dozen comic book stands, featuring meet-and-greets and signings with authors including Baru, Frank Margerin, and Ruben Pellejero. The 2026 poster was designed by Ralph Meyer.
Guests of the 2026 edition
Over thirty artists have been announced, including illustrators Baru, Frank Margerin, and Ruben Pellejero, as well as authors Philippe Manœuvre and Clémentine Boulard. The festival program includes meet-and-greets, signing sessions, and illustrated concerts.

A record fair that has also become a comic book event
The festival began in 1989 centered around vinyl records, held in the Église des Dominicains, a historic landmark in the heart of Perpignan converted into an exhibition space. Comic books were officially added in 2010, with authors invited for signing sessions. The event draws approximately 4,000 visitors over the two days.
The eighty or so record exhibitors come from France, Belgium, Spain, Canada, the United States, and Germany, filling nearly 275 meters of exhibition space alongside about ten comic book stands.
