The festival that makes the Pyrénées-Orientales swing
Since 2016, Jazz en Tech has been making the Pyrénées-Orientales swing with a traveling festival that combines contemporary jazz and exceptional heritage. The festival unfolds between two emblematic sites: the Romanesque cloister of Saint-Génis-des-Fontaines and the lively streets of Céret, the "Mecca of Cubism".
The first part of the festival takes place in the cloister of Saint-Génis-des-Fontaines, offering concerts in a remarkable architectural setting. The second part takes over the streets of Céret with free open-air concerts at 11 am and 6 pm, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere in the town's alleyways.
Jazz en Tech features internationally renowned artists alongside emerging talents. Among the artists who have marked the festival: Stefano di Battista, Jacky Terrasson, Camille Bertault, Charlotte Planchou (winner of the Victoires du Jazz 2024). The festival explores all facets of contemporary jazz, from swing to boogie-woogie to jazz fusion.
From September to June, Jazz en Tech continues its work with musical events on environmental or social themes, extending the spirit of the festival throughout the year and anchoring its action in the territory.
The 11th edition of Jazz en Tech takes place from July 26 to August 8, 2026, between Saint-Génis-des-Fontaines and Céret. This edition pays tribute to the centenary of the birth of Miles Davis and John Coltrane, with a program that blends vocal jazz, big band, boogie-woogie, and jazz fusion. Two highlights: two concerts in the cloister of the Abbey of Saint-Génis-des-Fontaines on July 26 and 27, followed by four evenings at Place de la République in Céret from August 5 to 8, complemented by free concerts in the streets of Céret.
