About Jeux de Vagues
Jeux de Vagues — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Jeux de Vagues festival takes place from May 13 to 16, 2026 on the Emerald Coast, at the Stephan Bouttet auditorium in Dinard (near Saint-Malo, in Ille-et-Vilaine). This edition pays tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, writer-aviator, through a series of concerts, a show, and a screening combining classical music, song, and theatre.
Jeux de Vagues — 2026 Edition
From May 13 to 16, 2026, the Jeux de Vagues festival takes over the Stephan Bouttet auditorium in Dinard, on the Emerald Coast, a few kilometers from Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine). The 2026 edition is dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry ("Wind, Sand and Stars"): a writer and aviator, Saint-Exupéry received an education where art held a significant place and was himself a musician.
The theme of the 2026 edition
The festival follows the route of the Aéropostale pilots, evokes the Spanish Civil War which Saint-Exupéry witnessed, and associates his memory with that of André Malraux, whose fiftieth anniversary of disappearance is celebrated this year. For the first time, a play based on Saint-Exupéry's writings is presented, alongside chamber music concerts, an oriental cabaret, and a closing concert dedicated to 20th-century Spanish composers.
The detailed program and ticketing information are available on the official festival website.
