The Uzès Medieval Days are back on October 17 and 18, 2026, for a weekend when the historic center of Uzès (Gard) transforms into a large medieval village. A medieval market, encampments, combat demonstrations, chivalry tournaments, shows, and entertainment await young and old alike.
Uzès Medieval Days — 2026 Edition
Organized by the association Les Dynamiques d'Uzès, the Uzès Medieval Days take over the historic heart of the city on October 17 and 18, 2026. For a weekend, Uzès travels back in time: streets and squares are adorned with a recreated medieval village, featuring a market, encampments, and free-access entertainment, as well as shows and activities to discover throughout the city.
On the program
A medieval market, an old-fashioned banquet, combat demonstrations and chivalry tournaments, troop parades, encampments of knights, mercenaries and Vikings, raptor flights and falconry, discovery of ancient trades and practices, guided tours of the duchy, fire shows and children's workshops punctuate these two days.
The detailed program (precise animation schedules) is communicated annually by the organizer closer to the event.
