Punk, rock and metal festival in the Pyrenees
La Keuponnade de Tuzaguet is a punk, rock and metal music festival that takes place every year in September at the Salle des Fêtes in Tuzaguet, in the Hautes-Pyrénées. Organized by the association ADN (Ensemble Bougeons), this human-sized festival offers two evenings of concerts by punk, ska, and hardcore bands from the Southwest and beyond, in a friendly and festive atmosphere. La Keuponnade also offers on-site camping, food stalls, and daytime activities such as pétanque. Admission is very affordable, in keeping with the event's underground and DIY spirit.
La Keuponnade de Tuzaguet is a must-attend event for punk, rock, and metal fans in the Hautes-Pyrénées. Since its creation, this festival with an underground and Do It Yourself spirit has enlivened the small village of Tuzaguet for a September weekend.
The festival takes place over two evenings, Friday and Saturday, with four bands scheduled each night. The lineup features punk, ska, and hardcore bands from the Southwest of France, with groups from the Hautes-Pyrénées, Gers, Haute-Garonne, and Landes. Among the bands that have played at Keuponnade: Patator (festival residents), Brassen's Not Dead, Cirrhose Atak, Motor Riot, Violent Bastards, and Les Vaches Pourries.
Beyond the concerts, Keuponnade offers on-site catering, a campsite for festival-goers, and daytime activities like pétanque. The festival's spirit is resolutely friendly and accessible, with low-priced entry.
