About Kite Festival
The Kite Festival takes over the seafront of L'Aiguillon-la-Presqu'île, located on Avenue de la Plage in La Faute-sur-Mer, right in front of the Casino des Dunes, which hosts the event. The festival features a kite exhibition, demonstrations of giant single-line kites and acrobatic stunt kites, as well as a creative workshop specifically for children.
Kite Festival — edition 2026
For its inaugural edition, the Festival des Cerfs-Volants arrives on September 5th and 6th, 2026, at the beach in La Faute-sur-Mer, right in front of the Casino des Dunes. Visitors can enjoy a kite exhibition featuring giant single-line kites and acrobatic stunt kite demonstrations, along with a kite-making workshop exclusively for children.
