A festive walk in the Champagne vineyards

La Balade qui Pétille is a one-of-a-kind event, organized by the association « Grauves - Au-delà des Bulles » in the charming village of Grauves, nestled in the heart of the Champagne hillsides. For a weekend in May, the village comes alive to offer an experience combining hiking, champagne tasting, gastronomy, and local crafts in an exceptional natural setting.

Two routes for all levels

The event offers two hiking routes suitable for all audiences. The 3-kilometer route, ideal for families, winds through the village and its surroundings with friendly stops at winegrowers' estates. The 10-kilometer route, for more seasoned walkers, crosses vineyards, cliffs, and hillsides, offering spectacular panoramas of the Champagne vineyard. At each stop, tasting points allow participants to discover the champagnes of Grauves' winegrowers.

Meet winegrowers and artisans

The heart of La Balade qui Pétille lies in the authentic encounters with the village's winegrowers and artisans. At each stage, participants are welcomed into the courtyards and cellars of the winegrowers for guided tastings. Local artisans showcase their expertise and creations, offering a vibrant panorama of the Champagne heritage. Food stalls are located along the route, offering local specialties.

Music and conviviality

Concerts and musical entertainment punctuate the weekend, adding a festive touch to the event. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere makes La Balade qui Pétille a moment of sharing and discovery appreciated by lovers of wine, nature, and authentic encounters. Departures are from the Town Hall square in Grauves throughout the day.
