About La Bougeotte
Living arts take over Thiviers
La Bougeotte en Vadrouille is a festival of living arts that sets up in the streets and squares of Thiviers, a medieval town in Périgord Vert. Born thanks to the Participatory Budget of Dordogne in 2023, the festival is driven by the company Les Divers Gens and a team of passionate volunteers.
Theater, dance, storytelling, and music
The program mixes street theater, mime, storytelling, traditional dance, theatrical walks, and concerts. The shows take over alleys, small squares, and gardens for open-air performances accessible to all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest.
Conviviality and participatory spirit
True to its participatory spirit, the festival invites the public to take part in traditional dance initiations, creative workshops, and popular balls. Evening DJ sets extend the party in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
