The boutique festival of the French Riviera
La Crème Festival has established itself in a few editions as the benchmark boutique festival on the French Riviera. Created in 2021, the event has found its setting in an exceptionally beautiful location: the Citadelle Saint-Elme and the Marinières beach in Villefranche-sur-Mer, in the heart of what many consider the most beautiful bay in the world.
A unique concept: music, love, and feet in the water
The concept of La Crème Festival can be summed up in one phrase: "music, love, and feet in the water". For three days and three nights, the festival highlights the current music scene against a backdrop of slow-life and the Mediterranean. The experience goes far beyond simply listening to music: it's a total immersion in the Mediterranean art of living, with dancing on the beach, aperitifs facing the sunset, and wild sets in the Citadel.
Five stages and thirty artists
The festival features five stages spread between the Citadel and the beach, hosting around thirty artists per edition. The programming showcases the indie electro-pop scene, with artists who embody the renewal of French and international music. Among the notable names from past editions are Bon Entendeur, A-Trak, Breakbot & Irfane, Julien Granel, Busy P, ELKKA, Girl Ultra, and Naomi Greene.
The Ed Banger Party: an event within an event
The 2025 edition marked a turning point with the organization of an Ed Banger Party on Sunday, June 22nd. The legendary French electro label Ed Banger Records took over the last day of the festival, inviting 10 French and international artists for a memorable day of celebration. This prestigious collaboration confirmed La Crème Festival's status as a major player in the French electro scene.
An eco-responsible commitment
Since its creation, La Crème Festival has maintained a strong eco-responsible commitment. The event has implemented concrete initiatives: selective sorting, waste reduction, an eco-responsible charter for partners, and public awareness. This commitment is part of a desire to respect the exceptional natural environment that hosts the festival, between the sea and the Citadel.
