A festival born from the passion of Charentais winemakers

La Fête du Cognac was born in 1997 from the initiative of a handful of young winemakers who wanted to promote and showcase their products: Cognac, Pineau des Charentes, Charentais wines, and local gastronomic products. What was initially a modest event has become over the years a major festive gathering in Charente, attracting thousands of visitors each summer.

Three evenings of concerts near the Parc François Ier

Every year at the end of July, La Fête du Cognac takes over the area around the Parc François Ier, a green oasis in the heart of Cognac. For three evenings, artists of various styles and great renown perform on stage, offering an eclectic program ranging from pop to electro, rock to French chanson. The festival opens its doors at 6 PM and continues until 2 AM, allowing festival-goers to dine on-site, discover cognac-based cocktails, and attend the concerts.

Renowned artists throughout the editions

La Fête du Cognac has attracted major artists from the French and international music scene. The 2024 edition hosted Bon Entendeur, Feder, Eddy de Pretto, Charlotte Cardin, and IAM. In 2025, the audience was able to applaud Petit Biscuit, The Avener, Hoshi, Carbonne, Boulevard des Airs, and L'Entourloop. The 2026 edition promises to be just as festive with Trinix, Polo & Pan, and Yann Muller among the first announced names.

Gastronomy and Charentais art of living

Beyond the concerts, La Fête du Cognac highlights the Charentais terroir. Six bars offer the opportunity to discover Cognac in all its forms, Pineau des Charentes, and Charentais wines. A catering area offers local culinary products in a magical setting. The event is driven by a management committee of 13 people, 4 employees, and 650 volunteers who work year-round on its organization.
