About La Forgeronne
La Forgeronne is a trail running event held in Eurville-Bienville, Haute-Marne, hosted by the Eurville-Bienville Trail 52 (EB Trail 52) association. The event has moved to the first Sunday of March: the organizers have announced the next edition for March 7, 2027, featuring an 11 km run (150 m elevation gain) and an 11 km walk. The start and finish lines are located at the Louis Bazire municipal stadium, rue de la Gare.

On Facebook, the association states they are preparing "the next edition of La Forgeronne, which will take place on the first Sunday of March 2027." Another post, titled "EB Trail 52 – The Return -> La Forgeronne," indicates that La Reprise, the club's early March race, is being rebranded as La Forgeronne. In 2026, the association held La Reprise on Sunday, March 1.
The next edition: Sunday, March 7, 2027
The format follows that of La Reprise: a semi-autonomous trail run, 11 km with 150 m of elevation gain, timed, open to categories from cadet to veteran (minimum age 16). An 11 km walk follows the same route, untimed, open to anyone aged 8 and up. Both start at 9:30 AM from the Louis Bazire municipal stadium, rue de la Gare.
