About Gen Z au Parvi'Z
La Gen Z au Parvi'Z is a cultural festival for 15-25 year olds, hosted by Le Parvis, the Tarbes-Pyrénées national stage in Ibos (65). Designed by, for, and with teenagers, it brings together theater, cinema, and visual arts over a weekend, centered around three participatory projects led by professional artists: Extrem'ados, the Short Film Marathon, and the Arty Show. The first edition takes place from October 17 to 22, 2025, and the second from February 26 to 28, 2027.
Gen Z au Parvi'Z — edition 2026
The second edition of La Gen Z au Parvi'Z will take place from Friday, February 26th to Sunday, February 28th, 2027, at Le Parvis in Ibos. The weekend features three participatory projects: Extrem'ados for theater, the Short Film Marathon for cinema, and the Arty Show for visual arts. Additionally, there will be a youth-curated film night and a performance of Les Misérables by the Belgian company Les Karyatides on Friday, February 26th at 7:00 PM. Le Parvis will release the full program in early 2027.
A weekend from February 26th to 28th, 2027
Following its debut in October 2025, La Gen Z au Parvi'Z returns from Friday, February 26th to Sunday, February 28th, 2027, condensed into a single weekend. Le Parvis describes this second edition as "even more ambitious," featuring three participatory projects, a film night, and a special performance evening.
Three participatory projects
- Extrem'ados — a theatrical experience led by a professional director, from the initial workshop to the final performance.
- Short Film Marathon — a short film competition: create a movie in just 24 hours.
- Arty Show — a performance showcasing the creative energy of teenagers in the visual arts.
The two evening events
A film night will be curated entirely by the youth. On Friday, February 26th at 7:00 PM, the Belgian company Les Karyatides will perform Les Misérables at Le Studio, using puppets and objects.
Upcoming announcements
Le Parvis will announce the complete program in early 2027. As of mid-August 2026, the schedules for the three participatory projects, the artists leading them, the film selection for the movie night, and registration details have not yet been released.

A festival designed with 15-25 year olds
Le Parvis, the Tarbes-Pyrénées national stage, is launching La Gen Z au Parvi'Z in October 2025. The goal is clear: to introduce young people to the richness of performing and visual arts by inviting them to explore worlds where commitment, imagination, movement, and the spoken word intersect. Everything takes place at Le Parvis, on the first floor of the Le Méridien shopping center, route de Pau, in Ibos.
Three participatory projects
The weekend is built around three intensive creative workshops, led by professional artists, culminating in a public performance.
- Extrem'ados — learn and perform a play in 48 hours under the guidance of a professional director.
- Short Film Marathon — create a short film in exactly 24 hours. This project is known as Court Collab' for the first edition.
- Arty Show — create a visual art piece in an intensive session, running from 2:00 PM to midnight during the 2025 edition.
The editions
The first edition runs from Friday, October 17 to Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The three participatory projects take place over the weekend of October 17-19, with a collective showcase in the main hall on Sunday the 19th at 6:30 PM, with free admission. This is complemented by the show Ce que je veux dire by Laurance Henry and a k entrepôt, as well as three cinema screenings: Queer night, Conspiracy night, and a Jumanji marathon.
The second edition takes place from Friday, February 26 to Sunday, February 28, 2027, condensed into a single weekend, featuring a film night programmed by the youth and Les Misérables by the Belgian company Les Karyatides.
