Samuran'Fou
An eclectic music festival in Samuran, in the Barousse Valley
2026
About Samuran'Fou
Every year, the Samuran'Fou brings together a diverse lineup of musicians in the Barousse Valley, blending rock, classical, gypsy jazz, and French chanson on stages set both outdoors and inside a yurt. The evening's atmosphere is defined by the concerts, a refreshment bar, communal dining tables, and a dance floor, all part of the event launched in Samuran in 2025.
Samuran'Fou — edition 2026
For its 2nd edition, Samuran'Fou brings together an eclectic lineup on September 12, 2026, in Samuran: Danielle & Les 7 Nains (rock), the Quatuor Dolce Vita (Mozart and classical music), the Swing Rencontre Trio (gypsy jazz), and Les Sœurs Motü (French chansons and ukulele), followed by a DJ set from St James to keep the party going. The concert takes place outdoors and under a yurt, featuring a refreshment bar and a communal sunset dinner.
The festival returns for its 2nd edition on September 12, 2026, in Samuran, nestled in the Barousse valley. Just like its 2025 debut, the evening blends open-air and yurt-based performances with a friendly bar, communal dining tables, and a dance floor open until the early hours. Parking is free, and festival-goers are welcome to pitch their tents on-site to spend the night.
