A traveling festival in the heart of the villages of Grand Narbonne
La Tempora is a unique festival: every summer, it travels from village to village across the towns of Grand Narbonne and the Côte du Midi. From June to August, a dozen free musical evenings take over the squares, courtyards, and parks of towns like Gruissan, Sigean, Peyriac-de-Mer, Bages, Leucate, and many others. This itinerant nature makes La Tempora a tool for social and cultural connection that irrigates the entire territory, bringing music and celebration closer to the inhabitants.
An eclectic and accessible musical program
La Tempora's program is distinguished by its musical diversity and its openness to the world. French song, world music, rock, hip-hop, afrobeat, folk trance, world folk latino: genres follow one another and cross paths throughout the evenings, creating connections between sometimes little-known but always accessible musical styles. The program highlights local artists while inviting groups from around the world, as illustrated by the opening evening of the 2025 edition with Piers Faccini.
Heritage and gourmet discoveries
La Tempora is not limited to music: each evening offers an opportunity to discover the heritage and flavors of the Narbonne region. Heritage and nature walks, guided tours, and activities focusing on the environment, history, and health enrich the program. Tastings of local wines and local specialties accompany the concerts, making each stop of La Tempora a complete sensory experience, combining music, heritage, and gastronomy.
A free, committed, and unifying festival
Free admission is at the heart of La Tempora's DNA (except for the opening evening). The festival promotes culture accessible to all, in the heart of the villages and open to the world. Supported by the Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Narbonne, the event unites the towns of the territory around a common cultural project and contributes to the summer entertainment of the Côte du Midi. With its 15th edition in 2025, La Tempora has become a pillar of Narbonne's cultural life.
