A festival born from a passion for storytelling and creation

Le Geste Qui Conte was born in 2022 from the passion and energy of Laurent Schuh (known as Lo Schuh), artist, actor and founder of the Compagnie De Lo De La - Scenes Sans Frontieres. In the hamlet of La Cour in Brigueuil, in the heart of Charente Limousine, this participatory and multidisciplinary festival invites the public to an immersive artistic experience in the heart of a planetary garden.

A multidisciplinary program

The festival offers a rich and varied program: theater, dance, circus, concerts, performances, poetry, land art, cinema, educational workshops, games and shared meals. Performances take place in various locations between Brigueuil, Confolens, La Cour, Montrollet, and Saint-Christophe, creating an artistic journey through the territory.

The Gestival: creation, transmission, and participation

At the heart of the festival, the Gestival brings together for several days meetings, workshops, games, outdoor meals, land art, performances, and shows in the planetary garden of the hamlet of La Cour. Le Geste Qui Conte is a committed festival, focused on creation, educational transmission, and public participation to build social and artistic connections in a rural environment.
